...and I felt like a cigar....with poker sets.
A total of six hundred chips, an eight seater green felt playing table, and a recently aquired slab saw the night beginning.
And so we played.
As we sat there, lights slightly dimmed, one of my brother's CDs in the Bose gently providing background noise, cards before me and a can of Woodstock in hand, I felt rather jaunty (and slightly smug when I looked to my rgiht and saw Steve had a lot less chips than me), and I thought that all that was missing from this scene was a big fat cigar in my hand.
The night ended well, with myself rather nicely intoxicated and happy at the game's outcome. T'was a good evening.
